This Privacy Policy describes how Amarakosha Technologies Private Limited (“LeanStack”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, register for our products (LeanCfg, LeanOS, LeanBoot, LeanBSW modules), or interact with our services.
1Overview
We collect only the information needed to operate the service, deliver licenses, provide support, and keep your account secure. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
2What we collect
The information we collect falls into a few categories:
- Account information: name, email address, company name, job role, phone number — provided during registration.
- License & activation data: license keys, machine identifiers used for device activation, AMC status.
- Usage data: dashboard navigation, download history, support ticket activity, login timestamps and IP addresses.
- Communications: support tickets, email replies, and attachments you send to us.
3How we use it
We use the data we collect to:
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Deliver and validate licenses for the products you’ve purchased.
- Provide technical support and respond to inquiries.
- Send product updates, security advisories, and important service notices.
- Improve our products by analyzing usage patterns in aggregate.
- Comply with legal obligations (tax, audit, court orders).
6Data retention
We retain account and license data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal/audit purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records). Support ticket history is retained for 3 years. Server logs are retained for 90 days.
On account deletion request, we remove personally identifiable information from active systems within 30 days. License records required for warranty / audit may be anonymized rather than deleted.
7Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: HTTPS for all traffic, password hashing, JWT tokens with short expiry, server-side session storage, role-based access control on organization data, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure — if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
8Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA, etc.) you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information (most fields editable on the profile page).
- Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Export your data in a machine-readable format.
- Object to certain processing or withdraw consent at any time.

9Children
LeanStack is a B2B developer tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products evolve or as required by law. Material changes will be announced via email and via a banner on the dashboard. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
