By registering on this website and using LeanStack software products (including LeanCfg, LeanOS, LeanBoot, and LeanBSW modules), you (the “User”) agree to the following terms and conditions outlined by LeanStack.
1License Agreement
Upon registration, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LeanStack software according to the license type selected (e.g., Evaluation License, Professional License, or Enterprise License). You agree to abide by the terms outlined in the End User License Agreement (EULA).
2Registration and Activation
To use LeanStack software products, you must complete the online registration and activation process. Evaluation licenses are valid for 30 days. Professional and Enterprise licenses are linked to the registered user/organization and cannot be transferred without prior written consent from LeanStack.
3Permitted Use
You may use the software for developing embedded software for automotive and industrial applications. Unauthorized activities, such as reverse engineering, decompilation, modification of source code, or redistribution without permission, are strictly prohibited.
4Generated Code Ownership
Code generated using LeanCfg or other LeanStack tools for your projects remains your intellectual property. However, the underlying LeanStack BSW source code and configuration tools remain the exclusive property of LeanStack.
5Usage Restrictions
The software must not be used for safety-critical applications (ASIL-B and above) without proper validation and certification by the licensee. LeanStack provides standards-aligned code but does not guarantee functional safety certification.
6User Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring compatibility of the software with your target MCU platform and development environment. LeanStack provides technical documentation and support but is not responsible for integration issues specific to your project configuration.
7Data Privacy
LeanStack may collect usage data for product improvement purposes. Your personal data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. Registration information may be used to contact you regarding product updates and support. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
8Updates and Support
Professional and Enterprise license holders receive software updates and technical support for the duration of their active subscription. Evaluation users receive community support only.
9Payment
All license fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable, except in cases where there is a confirmed defect in the software functionality as documented in the user manual. Support and maintenance fees are billed annually.
10Limitation of Liability
LeanStack is not responsible for any damages arising from the use of the software in production systems. The software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. In the event of damages, LeanStack’s liability is limited to the license fees paid in the last 12 months.
11Confidentiality
Any proprietary information, documentation, or source code provided by LeanStack must be kept confidential and not disclosed to third parties without prior written consent.
12Legal Jurisdiction
Any legal disputes shall be subject to the courts in Bengaluru, India.
